Welcome to the world of va.ee

Born in Kanazawa Japan. After dropping out of high school, he hit a major turning point as the monotony of construction work and a life centered around pachinko began to take its toll. After obtaining a high school equivalency diploma, va.ee moved to the United States and enrolled in the Department of Architecture at Parsons School of Design.

​Upon graduation, va.ee returned to their hometown of Kanazawa to work as a freelance designer. During this time, they launched the live painting event series “writer” at local clubs. It was through these events that they met front52dx and cotona, leading to the formation of the painting collective “PROPO” To this day, va.ee remains active in creating murals with PROPO and performing live painting at events both within and outside the prefecture.
